Abstract
A continuation of the incubation thesis into emerging technology. Algorithmic Siege examines how automation compresses the distance between capability incubation and infrastructure impact, what machine-speed tradecraft means for defenders who still plan around human-paced campaigns, and how these dynamics bear on a potential Taiwan contingency. The study extends the open-source method to a class of threats where the proving ground and the target increasingly collapse into one another.
